USA U17 head coach Richie Williams has named his 20-man squad for the CONCACAF qualifying tournament for the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup.
19 of the 20 players in Williams’ squad are involved in the US U17 residency program except for Joel Sonora who plays in Argentina for Boca Juniors.
The US side are up against Haiti and Guatemala in Group C of qualifying with their campaign kicking off on Sunday, April 7 against the Haitians and four days later against the Guatemalans. Both matches will be at Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City.
The 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates and commences on October 17, concluding on November 8.
