Crystal Palace have recalled Jonny Williams from his loan with Nottingham Forest.

Palace have recalled midfielder Williams from his loan spell at Championship side Nottingham Forest with immediate effect.

Williams' loan was set to expire on 16th January 2016, but he has been recalled early by the Eagles.

He saw action in defeat to Chelsea yesterday and said: "It was a special moment for me, I hadn't played for Palace in about 16-18 months.

"I was delighted to get back out there, it's been a long time.

"I can't thank the fans enough for their support, even when I was out on loan," he added.
