Willem II striker Frank Demouge has made a 'come and get me' plea to Tottenham.

The 26-year-old, who began his professional career with NEC Nijmegen in 2001, is keen to ply his trade in either England or Scotland.

He told Voetbal International: "The atmosphere in those countries! The stadiums, the way they play - it all appeals to me.

"Tottenham Hotspur was always my favourite club in my younger years. But other clubs are also welcome, of course."

The striker has not ruled out signing an extension with his current club.

"I would seriously consider a good, new offer," he said.
