Will Marsh struck a hat-trick for Liverpool U18s in their 5-0 thrashing of Blackburn Rovers.
Spaniard Sergi Canos struck the other two goals in the thumping win.
Marsh joined Liverpool from Wrexham when he was at U14 level.
When he arrived at the club he was a striker, but in recent years the youngster has dropped back and played mostly as a central-midfielder.
