Will Buckley is determined to make the most of his move to Sunderland.
The former Watford man is hoping to reward mentor Poyet with goals and assists.
"He knew about me at Brighton and he wants me to do the same in the Premier League," explained Buckley to safc.com. "It will be tougher to produce goals and assists than it was in the Championship, but I am willing to make that sacrifice and hopefully I can add a few of them.
"I had two chances in the cup against Stoke City and I probably should have scored one, but I am just happy to be creating the chances and hopefully they will start coming in the Premier League."
