Sunderland winger Will Buckley is in awe of the support from fans during a difficult couple of weeks.
Buckley has been impressed by the support he and his team-mates have continued to receive from the Black Cats fans.
"The fans are extremely passionate and they come whether you win, lose or draw," he told safc.com.
"It is the attitude the Sunderland fans always show and it really is amazing.
"Since I joined the club the support has been really good so it is a shame we haven't given them a little more to cheer about.
"But I'm sure that will come over the next few weeks and when the fans get behind us it really gives the players a lift."
