The former Middlesbrough midfielder penned his deal yesterday and the Australia international said: "At FC Twente, I have a good feeling and I've noticed that the club both on the field and elsewhere is developing.

"I feel at home here and I look forward to future matches being played in the new stadium. The atmosphere at the matches has been huge and it will soon become even better."
