Stoke City defender Andy Wilkinson says his future is at the Brit.

"This is where I wanted to stay. Blackpool came in for me but, whoever it was, I would always want to stay here," he told The Sentinel.

"It turns out it was a great decision, but that's thanks to the manager because he wanted to keep me and get me involved.

"It is a privilege for me to be a local lad and to be playing for the team, especially as we are in the Premier League."
