Chelsea's victory at Stoke is proof they can muck in when needed, says assistant coach Ray Wilkins.

Wilkins said: "We have proved we have qualities that a lot of people didn't think we had - those battling qualities. A lot of people question whether Chelsea have that side of things but we've once again proved we can deal with it.

"It's an important part of the game. Once we do deal with it, once we have the ball, we have got very good players who can play."
