Former Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins says Guus Hiddink will make the tough calls should he return to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are convinced they now have Hiddink, 64, in the bag and are preparing to confirm his appointment next week.
He previously bossed them in 2009 following Big Phil Scolari's axing and led them to FA Cup glory.
Wilkins said: "Guus is a big coach who has made big decisions all his life.
"His managerial record all around the world is fabulous, so stepping back into the Chelsea job will hold no fears for him.
"He certainly won't shy away from making any of the tough decisions which might be needed.
"Because of who he is and what he has achieved, he will go into the Chelsea job feeling extremely comfortable with what he is doing."
