Christian Wilhelmsson was a surprise factor in Johan Elmander agreeing to join Bolton Wanderers last week.

Wilhelmsson has been critical of his six months at Bolton last season, but Elmander revealed: "Christian said many positive things about the club.

"I have seen Bolton play many times on TV and they played really well in the UEFA Cup last season.

"The Premier League is the best in the world and since I was a small child it has been a dream come true to move here."
