Wilfried Zaha is delighted to have committed himself to a new deal at Crystal Palace.

He signed a long-term contract extension last week.

"It was massive for me and it's so nice to see that all the hard work I am putting in is being appreciated and it's a tremendous thank you from the fans and also my fellow team-mates," he told the club website.

"It gives me such a happy feeling to see that the work I am putting in is being seen and I'm really pleased with the recognition from all concerned.

"I used to live literally a minute's walk from the stadium so to be one of the fans' favourites and someone that they voted player of the season gives me such a special feeling.

"To have such love from the fans is so big for me and is a massive achievement, and one I am so proud of as someone who grew up locally."
