Wijnaldum, Origi, Klavan will start for Liverpool against Arsenal, Klopp will be bold

Liverpool legend Jan Molby believes that Jurgen Klopp will be bold with his team selection for the Premier League opener against Arsenal this weekend.

Liverpool start off their Premier League campaign at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and it is anybody's guess as to which sort of lineup Klopp will go with for the encounter.

Molby believes that the German will be bold with his team selection and has stated that the trio of Georginio Wijnaldum, Divock Origi and Ragnar Klavan could all be handed starts on the day.

Molby wrote in his column for the Liverpool Echo: "I think he will be bold with his team selection at the Emirates. He will want Liverpool to play on the front foot.

"Ragnar Klavan has done enough to get the nod ahead of Joel Matip at the back. Klavan has plenty of experience and will know what to do. He's a steady eddie.

"I think the manager will go for Gini Wijnaldum ahead of Jordan Henderson in midfield. It would be a big deal to leave out the captain and Henderson gives you greater defensive solidity. But Klopp wants Liverpool to be brave and he wants quality in terms of creating chances in that area.

"I hope Divock Origi leads the line. His pace and strength against a depleted Arsenal backline would be a real weapon for Liverpool.

"It depends what Klopp decides to go with tactically but if he wants Liverpool to get it forward quickly and really stretch Arsenal then Origi has to be the man. I'm expecting a really big season from the Belgian."
