Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum believes the rest of the Premier League is happy to see them lose Philippe Coutinho.

Coutinho left Liverpool for Barcelona last week.

Wijnaldum told the Daily Mail: "Every top team is probably happy Phil has left for another team in another country. Yeah, I think that's also luck.

"He wanted to go to his dream club. As players we were all happy for him because he was a good guy. But it's also sad because with Phil in the team, you are better.

"To be fair I think we still have to realise that he's gone. It's still strange. We can't think a lot about it because we can't control it."
