Wigan Athletic midfielder Ben Watson has revealed he rejected a Premiership offer to sign on-loan with QPR.

He said: "I've come here to play, I wasn't guaranteed football at Wigan with the new manager.

"There was a late offer from a Premier League club, but I'd given my word here."
