Wigan's shining star Antonio Valencia wants to play for a bigger club, but says he has not been contacted by Manchester United and that his employers want him to play one more season at The JJB Stadium.
"I have not been told anything about it," he told El Universo about the possible interest from The Red Devils and Barcelona. "I never spoke with Manchester United."
When asked if he will still be a Wigan player next season, he answered: "Yes, I think so. It seems that they want me to stay one more year.
"I feel good to be able to play in The Premier League.
"I hope this will help me play for a bigger team. If it does not happen this year, maybe next year.
"English football is very difficult. I have started to study because you have to speak English to be able to play there.
"With (Reading's) Ulises (de la Cruz) we speak every day. I am always in contact with (Manchester City's) Felipe Caceido."
