Wigan Athletic midfielder Lewis Montrose has re-signed with Cheltenham Town on-loan.

Speaking to thisisgloucestershire.co.uk, Montrose said, "It was an easy decision to come back because I really enjoyed myself last time I was here and I am happy to come back to Cheltenham.

"It's always good to play first team football and that's what I have come here to do.

"I have had no problems settling in again and after one session I feel settled because the lads are brilliant and the manager is good.

"I am ready to progress and hopefully the lads can get out of the relegation zone while I am here."
