Wigan Athletic striker Emile Heskey will partner Newcastle's Michael Owen in England's attack tonight against Russia.
Heskey, 29, who shone in the 3-0 win over Israel, will again start for England even though Peter Crouch is back from a one-game ban.
Manager Steve McClaren said: "Emile is a handful for defenders when he plays like he did and he gave others players more space.
"Emile didn't need any motivation. I've always found him to be very professional.
"He has matured with age and he showed that."
