Wigan Athletic striker Emile Heskey admits making Fabio Capello's England squad today is the furthest thing from his mind.

Capello watched the striker during Tuesday's 1-0 loss at Middlesbrough.

But Heskey, 30, insisted: "I wasn't aware Mr Capello was at the game until afterwards.

"But it's always nice when the England manager watches you. At the moment my priority is helping Wigan stay up."
