Wigan Athletic striker Emile Heskey must wait two weeks before joining full-scale training.

Heskey went for scans after he had his 'ski boot' taken off and the operation was a success. But medical experts are advising that he takes no risks.

Wigan hope to have Heskey available as quickly as possible, but his chances of being fit for their November 11 clash with Tottenham - the last game before England face Croatia - are very slim.
