Wigan Athletic defender Erik Edman is in talks with former club Helsingborg over a return to his native Sweden. The 31-year-old has played just four times this season and made only two Premier League starts.

Helsingborg - Edman's first professional club - have claimed the player has already completed a move but it is understood that is not the case.
