Wigan's former Middlesbrough midfielder Lee Cattermole is looking forward to this weekend's clash with Sunderland.
Cattermole said: "It's a bit like a derby for me.
"Obviously being from Middlesbrough, it means a lot to me to beat Sunderland and a lot of my mates are planning to come down for the game because they want me to win.
"I was a big Boro fan growing up."
Cattermole, 20, became Boro's youngest-ever skipper aged 17 when he wore the armband in his maiden Premier League season. He switched to the JJB Stadium in the summer and is enjoying being one of the senior players.
"It's really good here," he said. "I'm seen as a senior player, no-one really talks about my age and I like that.
"Everyone's really helped me settle in."
