Wigan Athletic midfielder Lee Cattermole admits he's still a fan of Middlesbrough.
The Latics face Boro this weekend and Cattermole told the Evening Gazette: "When I signed for Wigan, the first thing I did was to check when the two games against Boro were.
"I appreciate everything Boro did for me, but I got the chance to move on and I'm enjoying it.
"I still go and watch Boro - I went to Old Trafford to see them play United in the Carling Cup.
"A few weeks ago I saw them at Liverpool too. I've got a lot of friends at the club and my family are all fans - a lot of my friends are coming on Saturday.
"Since I left Boro, I've had a nice letter from the manager, assistant manager and other people at the club. I really appreciated that.
"It will seem a bit strange playing against them if I get the chance but what will probably be more weird is when we play at the Riverside in February."
