Wigan Athletic players will be sorry to lose Manchester United and Real Madrid target Antonio Valencia this summer, says Michael Brown.
Latics midfielder Brown, 32, said: "It's not that we want him to go but think he is going on to massive things.
"We all know that he is playing for a team that probably doesn't play to his strengths - we are not a team that takes risks.
"It is hard work for him because he has to go back and do his defensive jobs.
"At a top team he'd just do what an out-and-out winger does and get on with running at defences."
