Wigan Athletic are yet to offer terms to trialist Modeste M'Bami.

M'Bami was released by Marseille in the summer and a switch to Wigan looked on the cards.

But manager Roberto Martinez risks losing the 26-year-old to La Liga club Almeria, who have expressed a keen interest.

Their representatives have met M'Bami, meaning Spaniard Martinez must move quickly.

The Cameroon international, who has played 28 games for his country, made his latest appearance for Wigan reserves in a 2-0 win over Blackburn on Wednesday.
