Wigan Athletic won't block Arouna Kone's move away.

The Sun says they will not stand in Arouna Kone's way if the striker's £6million release clause is met.

The Ivory Coast star, 29, is desperate to join former Latics chief Roberto Martinez at Everton.

Wigan boss Owen Coyle said: "If the release clause is met, it would mean business would be done.

"If your heart's not in it then you won't be the same player. I want a committed squad."
