Wigan Athletic winger Callum McManaman isn't getting distracted by talk of an England call.
England coach Roy Hodgson revealed last week that McManaman was still a player he was looking at to potentially take to the World Cup next year.
Latics boss Owen Coyle said: "He's an exciting player.
"It's always great when you hear compliments.
"Callum's focus has got to be on Wigan Athletic. I've said this before, we love the fact that players go and represent their country at international level, it's fantastic for them. As a manager my focus is on Wigan Athletic, it's great to seem him doing well but the bottom line is I want him concentrating on what they do for Wigan Athletic.
"If he continues to do well then of course there'll certainly be more people than the national manager complementing him and that's what we want, because that means our players are doing well and that's what we're after."
