Birmingham City face competition for Lokomotiv Moscow striker Garry O'Connor.

The Scotsman says Wigan Athletic and West Ham United last night entered the race to sign the Scotland striker from Moscow.

Birmingham have not given up hope in their quest to secure the signature of O'Connor, however, and still believe that a deal can be done.
