Wigan Athletic have discovered a former club official is trying to find a new club for Charles N'Zogbia.
The People says Latics owner Dave Whelan has put a block on any move by the Frenchman and the Latics were stunned to discover an ex-official is involved with an agent who is trying to set up a deal.
Boss Roberto Martinez had hoped N'Zogbia would settle down following his dramas in the last transfer window and is raging at developments.
And Wigan also thought the player's split from some of his former advisers meant there was little need to worry.
Now there will be a summit on who actually represents N'Zogbia.
