Fraser Fyvie has revealed that he is set to leave Aberdeen to further his development elsewhere.

The highly-rated 19-year old midfielder is a reported target for Wigan Athletic and could be on the move this summer after confirming his impending Pittodrie Stadium departure.

"I need to go to progress my career," he said.

"I feel it's the right time for me to try my luck elsewhere and see what happens.

"I may be taking a big gamble, but sometimes you have to take a risk. I feel I want to go and challenge myself."
