Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is calling on the Latics supporters to help in the fight against the drop by making the DW Stadium an intimidating place to visit for the rest of the season. The Premier League's bottom club have two home games coming up against Birmingham and Tottenham respectively, with their clash against the Blues becoming an all-important relegation six-pointer.
"We have to make it an intimidating place to come to and show how desperate we are for those points," he told the club's official website.
"Throughout our club's history we've always stuck together and become stronger.
"We love to beat the odds and upset the normal opinions in the game, and we'll make to continue the fantastic story of Wigan Athletic with another great challenge ahead of us.
