Wigan Athletic's on-loan striker Amr Zaki wants to stay in the Premiership.

"Zamalek slapped a hefty price tag on me," Zaki said on FilGoal.

"I don't know yet where I will play next season but, honestly, I can't return to the Egyptian league.

"Why would I leave the strongest league competition in the world?"

Wigan are still believed to be interested in signing Zaki, while Ligue 1 sides Marseille and Lens have been linked with a move in recent weeks.
