Wigan Athletic striker Amr Zaki says he can handle his increased Premiership profile.
When asked how he was dealing with the celebrity status he has reached in the Premier League, Zaki told Al-Hayat TV: "Thankfully, I'm used to being considered a popular player from my time at Zamalek and the Egyptian national side.
"For me being a star only increases the responsibility I have towards both my club and my country."
Despite already impressing in England, the 25-year-old is keen to push himself further.
"Any player should have the highest possible ambition even if this ambition is beyond the player's abilities," he added. "That is the case for me because this is the only way to reach my full potential."
