Jason Scotland admits Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez was "buzzing" after their victory over Chelsea.

The former Swansea striker said: "Everybody at the club - the fans, the players and the gaffer - is just so excited by this first-ever win against a top-four side.

"The gaffer was absolutely buzzing that we've turned over Chelsea when they were unbeaten and top of the league.

"We'd just come off a bad defeat at Arsenal and we had to be mentally as well as physically ready for this game."
