Conor Sammon wants to stay with Wigan Athletic.

The striker has been linked with Derby County.

"I've not heard anything about that," Sammon told the Wigan Evening Post.

"As far as I'm concerned, I'm just totally focused on playing for Wigan, trying to break into the team, getting more starts and putting myself in contention.

"In the short term, my goals are to get my head down, get fit as quickly as possible, and trying to kick on."
