Nouha Dicko is delighted with his recent progress at Blackpool.
The Wigan Athletic striker was labelled a 'super-sub' by former boss Ian Holloway but now Dicko is striving for a more prominent role at Bloomfield Road.
"It's been a frustrating time for me," he told the Blackpool Gazette. "After my last goal (at Hull in October) I thought the gaffer (Holloway) would have had more confidence in me but it didn't happen.
"I've been desperate to get my chance with the new manager and I hope it's enough to show everyone I can keep improving.
"I'm still young and I have scored some goals, which is good. If the gaffer thinks I have to wait then I'll be patient, but I have to start proving I am good enough to start games...and I'm going to."
