Colombia striker Hugo Rodallega is on his way to Wigan Athletic.

The Daily Mail says Wigan have secured the transfer of Rodallega from Mexican club Necaxa for £4.5m, subject to a work permit.

Rodallega, 23, has scored 25 goals in 53 games for Necaxa and the player is scheduled to arrive at the JJB Stadium next week. As a regular for Colombia, Bruce believes Rodallega fulfils the requirements for a work permit.
