Wigan Athletic defender Emmerson Boyce is looking forward to meeting former club Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.
Boyce left Palace eight years ago.
"I never really got to thank the fans for their support because I left before the 2006-07 season started," said Boyce. "They have always been good to me, so this is my chance to show my appreciation to them. I was there for just a couple of years but in every game the fans always backed me and the team.
"I have never played against them since I left, so it will be a special occasion for me. I had great times there, so, before and after the game, I will show my respect."
