West Ham United face stiff competition for Mexican free agent Guillermo Franco.
The Mirror says Wigan and Stoke have joined the race for Franco.
West Ham have already held talks with Franco, 32, whose contract at Spanish side Villarreal expired at the end of last season.
But a number of rival Premier League clubs are also interested in the veteran striker.
Franco scored his sixth goal in 18 appearances for his country in Mexico's 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Costa Rica on Saturday.
And his agent Barry McIntosh said: "We haven't decided anything yet as several English clubs have been in touch about him."
