Wigan Athletic captain Gary Caldwell says victory at Liverpool cannot be just a one-off.
Caldwell knows their day to remember will count for nothing if they slip up when Stoke come to the DW Stadium next week.
He insisted: "We hope this victory could be a defining moment in our season, a first win against a team that is a member of the old Big Four.
"We've been playing like that for weeks and not got our rewards, but this time we got three points.
"But we mentioned in the dressing room that back-to-back wins are so important and we need to back this up against Stoke at home next week.""It's a huge win for us as a club and it summed up the togetherness and the desire in the squad. It was a great performance and the workrate from all the lads was terrific.
