Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi says he was not surprised by the weekend's confidence-boosting win over Liverpool but does admit it was the best moment of his career.
The Oman international was on form as the Latics scored a 2-1 victory at Anfield to move three points clear of bottom-placed Wolves and he was jubilant when asked about the triumph on Tuesday.
"We've been unlucky for a number of weeks, playing well and creating chances, but not managing to get our rewards.
"But on Saturday we got the luck - and we got the win. To go to Anfield and help to make a little piece of history with Wigan is fantastic.
"It's huge for everyone - for the players, the manager, the fans, the whole football club.
"It was my best moment in football.""Saturday's result may have surprised a few people. But it has been coming," he told the Evening Post.
