Roger Espinoza says Wigan Athletic are on a mission to remain in the Premier League.

The Latics came from twice trailing to beat West Bromwich Albion 3-2 on Saturday which put them within two points of Sunderland who are currently in the safety zone and Honduran midfielder Espinoza said the club was determined to once again avoid the drop.

"Right now we're on a mission because we have to win a few games to stay up, if not every game," he said.

"The vision to stay in this league has never gone away and it's going to be there until the end."

In their remaining three fixtures, Wigan come up against Swansea City (on Tuesday night), Arsenal and Aston Villa as they look to remain in England's top flight and avoid joining QPR and Reading in the Championship.
