Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur feels his side can grab a good result against Manchester City this weekend.
The Latics take on the high-flying City at Etihad Stadium on Saturday but McArthur insists that they can put in a big performance as they did last season.
"Man City showed last year how good a side they are and they've strengthened even more in the last transfer window," he told the club's official website.
"But we'll go there and look to play in the same manner we did last season; keep the ball, try to frustrate them as much as possible and work hard to hopefully get the right result.
"I think the key is to stick to the plan; we were unlucky to be beaten there last season and when we looked at the stats following the game it showed that we had made more passes and had more final-third entries than them which are impressive stats against such a strong team.
"So we'll aim to get the ball down, stop them from playing and show how good a side we are too."
