Wigan Athletic are ready to step up their interest in Espanyol winger Jose Callejon.

Callejon is up for sale at Espanyol ahead of the January market.

Wigan may be forced into the transfer market following news that Victor Moses could be out for up to three months after dislocating his shoulder in Tuesday's defeat at Arsenal.

Callejon has been watched by Wigan scouts in recent weeks.
