Wigan Athletic are forcing Sunderland boss Steve Bruce to shop around for a new left-back.
The Sunderland Echo says Bruce would love to be reunited with Maynor Figueroa, but is unwilling to pay Wigan's £8million asking price.
Figueroa could still be sold by Wigan this summer - for even better money - if he enjoys a successful World Cup with Honduras.
