Wigan boss Roberto Martinez is likely to move for Spartak Moscow winger Aiden McGeady this summer. The Latics failed in a move for the former Celtic man during last month's transfer window with the deal falling through at the final minute.
"It just wasn't meant to happen. For one reason or another, the deal broke down," said Martinez.
"I admire Aiden McGeady, he is a very talented footballer, he has got a big future. When you like a player, you always like a player."
