Wigan Athletic teammates have dubbed James McArthur 'The Phantom'.

McArthur has to wear a face mask after a clash in his team's FA Cup win at Huddersfield left his jaw broken.

McArthur said: "I've been called Phantom of the Opera in the changing room. Yesterday, in training, the boys had party masks on when I was in the middle.

"It's good banter but the main thing is it's OK.

"It's a good fit. They take a 3D image of your face and they construct it from there."
