Wigan Athletic are chasing Leeds United winger Robert Snodgrass.
The Mirror says Wigan boss Roberto Martinez wants Snodgrass to fill Charles N'Zogbia's boots.
Martinez is ready to offer £2.5million for the Scotland international, who is likely to jump at the chance of Premier League action.
Snodgrass, one of the most eye-catching performers outside the top flight, will miss Leeds' trip to Norway as he waits for permission to head to Wigan.
