Graeme Jones remains a target for Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins.
The Mirror says should Michael Laudrup leave, Swansea will again try to tempt Jones to return to the club from Wigan, where he is Roberto Martinez's assistant.
Jones held talks with Swansea last year before Laudrup's appointment.
