Wigan Athletic have been told to up their bid for Barnsley fullback John Stones.
The Daily Mail says Wigan have had a £1.5million bid for Stones rejected.
Barnsley want around £3m for the 18-year-old. Wigan are also keen on Wolves defender Ronald Zubar.
